Proverbs 5:21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.  Please read Proverbs 5 in its entirety.  Now, read it again! There are several things I’d like to call your attention to…First, My SON in vs 1, and vs 20.  Written for God’s children.  Now notice who the son encounters… the STRANGE WOMAN!  An immoral woman for sure.  Her description is in vs 3-7
Two bible characters come to mind immediately,  Joseph and David. Notice vs 8… Remove thy way from her. That’s exactly what Joseph did!  If David was asked today, he would tell us he would do the same if he could go back to that day on the roof!  Next, look at the SPOUSE in this text.  Vs 18-19.  Any individual that allows their eyes, their heart, or their mind to wander from their spouse is headed for trouble!  What if you’re young and not yet married?  It’s would be wonderful if everyone realized the importance of God’s will as they approach marriage.  God’s people should be looking for a relationship based on love and not lust!  That way, it’s much harder for the STRANGE WOMAN  to allure someone away from their spouse!  Two more things of great importance… the SCRIPTURE!  Notice knowledge in vs 2, instruction in vs 12-13, 23, the knowledge and instruction for avoiding the pitfall put forth in this chapter is found in God’s Holy Word!  Lastly, notice the SAVIOR in vs 21. We must all answer to Him!  He is the ultimate source of the wisdom spoken of in vs 1.  Amen!  Pastor
