Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  It is wonderful to know we have a high priest in the Lord Jesus that knows full well what we are going thru!
Every temptation we face will fall into one of three categories… the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, or the pride of life.  Jesus was tempted in all three areas, YET WITHOUT SIN!  For this reason He alone could be the sacrifice for sin.  The sinless Son of God died for sinful man.  I find it amazing that our Lord used a tool that is available to you and me to combat the onslaught of temptation Satan threw at Him.  He said over and over… IT IS WRITTEN!  Perhaps that is why such an emphasis is placed on reading, memorizing, and studying the precious Word of God.
You and I are no match for the enemy.  Always remember this, the enemy cannot handle the Word of God!  We should stop and thank God we have a Bible!
Without it there’s no telling where we might be.  When Jesus stood the test, the scripture says… Then the devil leaveth Him…FOR A SEASON!  This indicates that even in the life of Jesus… old slewfoot will be back.  No worries,  we have the same word Jesus had. God help us to draw nigh to Him, and resist the devil, that he might flee from us! Amen. Pastor
