Ephesians 4:14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;   We live in a world that is unstable.  What is it that we need in order to stand firm in a time of such instability?  First, we must have a solid FOUNDATION!  Consider this line in the old hymn…On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand!  Then we need a solid FAITH!  How about this one… How firm a foundation ye saints of the Lord is laid for your faith in His excellent word…  Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.  Finally,  we need a solid FAMILY.  Two families are very important here… your family on the home front, and your family in the household of faith, the church.  We are instructed in Hebrews 10:25 … Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.  We need Jesus and we need one another. Jesus is coming! The world is shaking!
