1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.  If there is anything this world needs more of, it is godly husbands and godly fathers.   This verse gives us some insights as to what that would entail.  Peter is assuming that those who dwell together would be husband and wife.  In today’s society that is not something that is always true.  The bible tells us “Marriage is honorable.”  If you want to be a godly husband,  marry the love of your life and seek to please her as you seek to please the Lord.  God took Eve from Adam’s side.  Everything God created he said… It is good.  Then He made a man.  He said…
It is not good for man to be alone!  How I know that!  Notice in our verse..  Heirs TOGETHER of the grace of life.  One thing that would surely help every man to be a godly husband is to realize his wife is a gift from God!  I’ve received a lot of wonderful gifts in my life.  The greatest being the gift of God, which is eternal life.  Next would definitely be the gift of my precious wife.  Young men, begin right now to develop those things in your life that will help you to be a godly husband.  Pray, seek God’s will in marriage.  He has a plan!  I promise you it’s better than anything we could come up with.  Already married?  Please don’t take your wife for granted.  She is a gift from the one who loved us, and gave himself for us.  Seek God’s will in marriage.
Show God’s way in marriage.  You will then experience God’s blessings in your marriage.  Amen. Pastor
