1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.  According to knowledge… lets look at some things that a wife needs to know concerning her husband.  She needs to know she can TRUST her husband.   She needs to be able to trust him in the area of morality, and also in the area of spirituality.   The wife needs a man she can know in her heart is truly following the Lord as he leads her and the family.   My wife has been with me through some drastic changes in the ministry.  Sometimes requiring huge steps of faith.  Truly, I cannot imagine what it would be like had my wife not trusted that the Lord was leading me.  The godly husband not only needs to be trustworthy,  but also must provide what is needed in the home.  Economic and spiritual security is something that every godly husband desires for his home.  Many marriages end in divorce because of insecurity in these two areas.  The wife needs to KNOW that by the grace of God her husband intends to provide for her and the family.   Many of you are young at the moment.   These moments are fleeing fast.  These devotions are written with the hope that something will be shared that our Lord can use to help you have a prosperous marriage and a godly home.  God bless you all.
