1 Peter 5:7  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.  Truly, no one ever cared for you like Jesus!  With the Christmas season approaching,  we stop a moment to acknowledge that there are many who feel forgotten.   The enemy tries to isolate us, that he might devour us.
Peter wants us to know that Jesus cares, and that whatever burden we are carrying can be placed on Him.  Jesus is the great burden bearer!  He bore our sin in His body on the hill called Calvary.  Do you really think that someone could love and care that much, and all the sudden stop caring somewhere along the way?  Absolutely not!  It may SEEM at times that the Lord has withdrawn from our situation.  Just remember… Psalm 34:15  The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.  Things are not always as they seem.  When you do not sense His presence,  he may be nearer than you think!  Go ahead, talk to Him. Walk with Him.  Soon you will understand… He was there all the time,  He was there all the time, waiting patiently in line, He was there all the time!  When we come to the end of ourselves,  we will find that we are not forgotten, we never have been, and we never will be!  He’s a good God who remembers His own.
