Psalm 26:1 Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
Perhaps you remember a fun activity called “Slip n Slide”
Placed on a hill with water sprinkling on the plastic, slide on your belly or back all the way to the bottom.  We always made our own!  Roll out some plastic, spread a little dish soap, add water, I double dog dare you to try to stand up on it!  So… since God tells us over and over in His word to STAND… What do you think the enemy wants us to do?… SLIDE!  He wants us to loose our footing, and make a bee line for the bottom!  How can we prevent that from happening?  Psalm 26 vs 1 TRUST the Lord.  Vs 2… Allow the Lord to EXAMINE our hearts.  Vs 3… Pay particular attention to what we LOOK at and where we WALK!  Vs 7… Be THANKFUL and be willing to TELL others of God’s goodness!
Vs 12… Stay off the slippery slope and don’t abandon the HOUSE OF GOD!  You can end up at the bottom in a heartbeat.
