Genesis 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.  Actually, in a sense we can hide.  We can hide from man but we can’t hide from God!  Adam and Eve sinned and it cost them dearly.   They were expelled from the garden and sentenced to die.  The Lord killed the animals and made coats of skins that He might fellowship with them again.  He was letting us know early on that sin would require a blood sacrifice.  Can you think of others who tried to hide their sin?  What about David?  For over a year the people didn’t know… but God did!  David did!
Bathsheba did!  David’s sin ate at him on the inside till he finally cried out to God… Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation.  Renew a right spirit in me!  It’s a happy day when a believer gets tired of trying to hide and comes clean with their creator.   What about Annanias and Saphira?  They sold their land, but kept back part.  They let on like they gave it all to God.  They lied to the Holy Ghost.  They both died suddenly!  Don’t hide.  Get help.
Our Lord offers forgiveness.
Consider Proverbs 28:13,  He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.  Uncover it!  God will cover it!  Cover your sin, God will uncover it.  We must be sure our sin will find us out! Amen.  Pastor
