Matthew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.  Can you imagine for a moment being engaged to the woman you love, only to find out she is with child by another man?  This is exactly what Joseph was convinced of in his mind.  It took a miraculous revelation from God to convince him otherwise.  It is entirely possible for us as God’s children to be confused about what is happening to us as well.  Even though Joseph assumed the worst, Mary, the woman he loved, was carrying Heaven’s best!  God had to reveal to Joseph that he was absolutely in the arrangements.   One thing we must remember as we face troubles at Christmas is this… perhaps not now, but in time or in eternity, our Lord will reveal to us His plan and purpose in the troubles we face, not only at Christmas,  but throughout the year as well.  The songwriter said…”Farther along we’ll know all about it, farther along we’ll understand why, cheer up my brother, live in the sunshine,  we’ll understand it, all bye and bye.”   We cannot track the Lord,  but we can always trust Him!  Amen.  Pastor
