Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not…
Then… Proverbs 24:21 My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: Change can be both positive and negative. In my estimation, at the top of the list on the negative side would be those who desire to change God’s word. The word of God is forever settled in Heaven. Our Lord told us plainly in Revelation 22 not to add to, or take away from God’s word! We use a King James Bible at Bibleway. It is God’s word preserved in the English language. Psalm 12:6-7. The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
The Word of God is not broken, we are! We don’t need to fix the book, we need to get in the book and let it fix us! When this happens, there will be a change that is positive. If any man be in Christ, he’s a new creature!
Changed and being changed into the likeness of God’s dear Son. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. The world is changing at a breakneck speed, and not in a good way. When the changes contradict God’s word, it is never for the better, only for the worse. We should take great comfort in knowing… our Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Amen. Pastor
