Mark 14:56 For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.  This passage is describing the events leading to our Lord’s crucifixion.   They were falsely accusing the Lamb of God who would bare their sin and our sin in His own body on the cross.  We can only imagine what went on in the heart of Mary,  Jesus’s mom.  Perhaps she thought all He ever did was go about doing good, healing the sick, helping those with any need.  This ain’t fair!  Even Pilot said I find no fault in Him.  He couldn’t find fault because there was no fault!  Jesus was holy, harmless, the Son of the living God.  Tempted like us, yes, yet without sin! Yet He was mocked, spit on, scourged,  and nailed to a tree for you and me.
In all this Jesus never defended himself.   Truly He is brought as a sheep to the slaughter.  Joseph was  another who may have had the same thought, it just ain’t fair.  There he is in prison, falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife.   There’s something in common in both Jesus and Joseph’s unfair situation… GOD HAD A PLAN!
God was gonna use Joseph to deliver a nation from starvation, and use Jesus to deliver souls from sin!  Dear Christian,  the next time the thought runs through your mind, this ain’t fair, stop for a moment and remember… our Lord has a plan!
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
