Ezekiel 3:22 And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.  Notice the Lord did not say I will talk TO THEE, rather He said I will talk WITH THEE there!  Have you ever been in conversation,  perhaps on the phone, and someone asks… Who are you talking to?  Fact is, any good conversation has communication on both ends, not just one.  Can you imagine being in the plain with Ezekiel when God talked with him.  I am reminded of a movie that I have watched 5 or 6 times.  The title of the movie is Sheffey.  It depicts a true story of a circuit riding preacher of yesteryear.  Brother Sheffey went before some men who were considering him for ordination.   One of them said- “Why brother Sheffey it’s been said that when you pray, it’s as if you’re actually talking to God.”  Brother Sheffey responded- “To whom do you talk to when you pray?”  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if others over heard us praying and it was if we were actually talking with God?  Oh my, we have a way of complicating things that our Lord meant to be simple.  Enter into your closet today.  Don’t just talk to the Lord, talk with Him.  He’d love that and you will too!  Amen.
