James 1:2-3 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
When we determine, by God’s good grace, to say YES LORD at his prompting, trials will come! Many act as if the Christian life is to be a picnic, or a walk in the park. Not so! When an individual surrenders to the Lordship of Christ, trials will come! Please remember this, just like in the life of Paul, the trials are not to destroy us, but rather to develop us. Paul was beaten, Peter was beaten, many others as well were persecuted for their faith. One thing that will help us is this, take whatever comes, no matter how trying, and carry it to Calvary. Hebrews 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. When the trials come, we can faint, or have faith. The enemy wants us out of the battle. David said “The battle is the Lords” I’m glad to be a soldier, aren’t you?
