Jeremiah 29: 12-13 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. I remember something a dear preacher friend said years ago.
He told us to always be praying about something no one else knows about. That way, when God answers, you will know he heard your prayer! We are told men ought always to pray and not to faint. Jesus was very busy ministering to others, but never too busy to pray. He would go out before dawn, many times into the mountains, to meet with His Father in prayer. Someone once said, ” Every great move of God can be traced to a kneeling figure.” In this day and hour we live in, we most certainly need each other’s prayers! Pray without ceasing! Praying always! Scripture phrases that surely ought to challenge our hearts!
Lord, teach us the virtue of prayer, the value of prayer, and grant us the victory in prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Pastor
