1 John 3:18-21 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.  And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.  What a blessing to be one of God’s little children,  and know it!  There is an old worldly song entitled “Whats Love Got to Do With It?”  Well, when you’re talking about assuring  our hearts before God,  LOVE HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH IT!  The Love that the Holy Spirit plants in the heart of the genuine believer will produce an intense desire to please the Lord.   We will love that which God loves and hate that which God hates!   We will love the brethren.  We will love the Bible.  We will love the broken.   We will hate sin.  When we disappoint or disobey our Lord, it will break our hearts.  We will want to get it right that our fellowship will once again be unhindered.  I love the song… Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine, Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine, Heir of salvation, purchase of God
