Mark 1:41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.   Diety speaks of our Lord’s incarnation.   God became flesh, and dwelt among men.  Abraham told Isaac,  God will provide himself a lamb.  Jesus, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world!  He’s the one that has power to cleanse the leper, raise the dead, cause the deaf to hear, the blind to see!  Jesus in our text makes the lepers whole, now he can be permitted back in society.  Because many did not believe,  Jesus became an outcast.  He’s thrown out so we could be welcomed in!  It was clear to the Saducees and the Pharisees that when Jesus claimed to be the Son of God he was making himself equal with the Father.  That’s why they despised Him!  Jesus said…Before Abraham was I am!
That surely set their barley field on fire!  They crucified Him for His claim.  Im so glad the scripture tells us there is one God.  We know Him as Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.   Beware of those that will name the name of Jesus all the while denying His diety.  His name shall be called Immanuel,  which being interpreted is… GOD WITH US!
