Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  We know this is true because…Romans 5:12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:   For any person to say they have not sinned is the ultimate form of pride and arrogance!  Someone would have to be awfully deceived to say or think such a thing!  God gave us a conscious.  I can recall even as a child knowing full well when I had done wrong!
Many are like one of our little ones that were told no cake till
after dinner.  When asked…       “Have you been in the cake”  the reply was no!  The problem was chocolate icing from one ear to the other!  The evidence said otherwise!  The same is true for you and me.  We could SAY we have no sin…but the evidence says otherwise!
Listen to this verse…Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.  Think of it like this…uncover sin (confess it) and God will cover it!  Or…cover your sin, and God will uncover it!  A person doesn’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out the best choice here.  Help us dear Lord, to keep the slate clean in our lives, realizing you’re merciful to us.
