Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  We are keenly aware, that not only was God the source of Abraham’s blessings, He’s the source of ours as well!
Consider…Matthew 6:8  Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.  Think of it, our Heavenly Father knows ahead of time what we need,  but still desires that we should ask of Him, that we might receive.   We live in a very proud generation.   Not many want to ask for anything!  We will never know the fulness of God’s joy till we know the fulness of God’s supply!  He owns it ALL!
Psalm 50:10  For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.  One preacher said…He owns the hill, the cattle on the hill, and the taters in the hill!  The songwriter said…We need thee every hour, most precious Lord.  Amen. We can do nothing to honor the Lord apart from His presence, power, and provision.  There are many forces in the world trying to pull us away from the source.  Aren’t you glad, Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!  Lord, help us today to look to you, lean on you, and live for you, till you come and take us home.  In the lovely name of Jesus we pray.
