Having a predetermined “Yes Lord ” pt 2…

Today’s text is Acts 16:4-15 notice please vs 9-10…And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
Paul was experiencing a truth proclaimed in Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. In verse six Paul was forbidden to go, and in verse seven the Spirit suffered them not. We see here that God was not only directing Paul’s steps, but his stops as well. It’s relatively easy to say YES LORD when God is leading in a direction we desire to go. It’s not so easy when the Lord leads us in a way that’s contrary to our own will and way. Remember this, if we will always say YES LORD, not only will it benefit us, it will benefit others as well. Ask Lydia! Look at verse ten…and immediately we endeavoured to go! Don’t hesitate! Now is the time for YES LORD! There are many others today, as was the case in verse nine, saying… “Come over and help us.”
