John 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
A few things here to think about…
Are there people in your life that you believe were sent from God?  Was it just a coincidence that as a young boy, someone loved me enough to come by with a bus and take me to Sunday school and church?  What about my Sunday school teacher who poured his heart into those lessons Sunday after Sunday?  Then there’s the pastor who never compromised but preached the truth that I might repent, believe, and be saved!  What about my precious wife?  Could it be that she also was sent from God?  I don’t think the Lord would mind me praising Him for those He SENT to love me, teach me, warn me, and I would like to go on record as saying i believe these dear people were sent from God!  John was sent to magnify the Lord.  Are not we sent into the world as God’s people to do the same?  Are there those who, when referring to you, would say… you were sent from God into their life!  Boy, oh boy!  To know you made a difference in someone’s life along the way…
What a blessing!  Let’s keep our eyes and ears open, not living by chance, but living by choice,
knowing full well who sent us!  John 20:21  Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.  Amen.  Pastor
