2 Peter 1:19  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:   I surely remember when my heart was a dark place, what about you?  The secret to experiencing the light of the gospel is to realize you’re in a dark place!  Every child of God should stop and thank the Lord for those who let there light shine, that we might understand our need of Jesus.  My Sunday school teacher was an awesome light for the Lord.   Many others let their light shine as well.  Looking back I wonder if some might have thought I was a hopeless case.
But God!  The God that is rich in mercy, rich in love, and rich in grace, broke through the darkness and saved my never dying soul! Glory to his name! The light shined in darkness,  and the darkness absolutely could not overcome that light.  The world is truly dark and getting darker by the day.  May God help us to let our light shine,  that men may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in Heaven.   Jesus is the light of the world. He lives inside every born again believer.   Let’s let Him out, that others might see!  Amen! Pastor
