Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. The Lord tells us in this verse something very important… Church, God’s people assembling together, is not to be forsaken! We assemble to sing praises. We assemble to pray together. We assemble at church to fellowship one with another and to bear one another’s burdens. We go to church to be challenged by the word of God.
We understand the need to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus, so we head to Church. Sunday after Sunday, faithfully we trod, on down to the church house to meet with our dear God! Singing, praying, preaching, God’s love we humbly share, no place on earth just like it, oh come and meet me there! The choir is now singing, amazing grace how sweet the sound, and oh the blessing of seeing, all the children gathered round. The pastor opens his Bible, with a message from above, all because the good Lord gave it, His people are dearly loved. So don’t give up on attendance, this place is needed more, as we see the day approaching, when heaven will open its door. To welcome God’s dear people, to their home up there on high, then we’ll leave this old world of sorrow, and meet our Savior in the sky! Amen. Pastor
