Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. In every army there is a chain of command. It is a very serious offense to be guilty of insubordination! In the Christian’s life there is a headquarters from which we get our marching orders. There is the Captain of our salvation whose name is Jesus. There is a very definite warefare going on on this world. A spiritual warfare! Have you enlisted? Isaiah said … “Here am I, send me.” When we find ourselves in the heat of battle, it is good to know that no matter how deep the trench, or how dark the trial, the Captain is aware and ready to help! The Apostle Paul understood fully that the Lord stood with him when no one else would. The Lord will never leave us or forsake us. He never slumbers or sleeps! He is ever ready to do two things. 1. He’s ready to give marching orders to those who volunteer in His army. 2. He’s ever ready to HELP his soldiers carry out those orders! Remember this, He knows about the enemy, and
He knows how to succeed in this warfare. In a tight spot? Come boldly to the Captain, He’s has the grace you need to succeed! Amen. Pastor
