2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  Timothy was Paul’s son in the faith!  Paul is warning Timothy that the road ahead would not be easy.
There are two ships that God’s people must choose between.
The Cruise ship, or the battle ship.  Many of God’s people are just coasting through life.  Enjoying the scenery, living a life focused only on themselves and the pleasures of this world.
Not Moses! Hebrews 11:25  Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.  By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.  Moses could have chosen the luxury cruise, but chose instead to get on the battleship! Why?  Because Moses loved the Lord, and he also loved his nation.  Our nation is at a crossroads.  Many are beginning to think Socialism is the answer to our problems.
No! 10,000 times no!  The answer is not found in any teaching that is diametrically opposed to the Word of God.  They chant free stuff, God says If you don’t work, don’t eat!  Six months of doing things God’s way would make a huge difference!  We need more AI…
ALMIGHTY INCLUDED!  You might be thinking,  what’s the matter with pastor.   Years ago I boarded the BATTLESHIP!  My country is worth fighting for. My children and grandchildren are worth fighting for.  My Lord is worth living for!  Haven’t you been on the cruise ship long enough?   It’s time to change ships, get in the battle, and be a good soldier for Jesus Christ!
And remember,  with Jesus as the captain,  this battleship will never sink, and will someday dock on Heavens bright shore! Amen. Pastor
