1 Peter 3:7  Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.  One very important reason to focus on the marriage relationship is so that we might have unhindered access to the throne of grace.  A man needs to HONOUR his wife.  The godly man will HELP his wife.  The husband that wants peace and happiness in his home also needs to HEAR his wife.  To refuse to honour, help, and hear one’s spouse is to refuse the counsel of scripture.   To refuse God’s instruction is foolish!  Our heavenly father knows what’s best and desires the best in our marriages.  To disregard the scripture is dangerous and is also sinful.  Consider…
Psalm 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:  Perhaps you are still single.  Why not begin learning these principles that you might be the spouse our Lord wants you to be.  The Lord knows I’m still learning.   My Lord and my precious wife are worthy of the effort.  Amen.  Pastor
