Matthew 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Remember all the jokes… Knock, knock. Who’s there?
Gladys. Gladys who?
Gladys Dunn. Honey I’m Glad it’s done too!
All jokes aside, our Lord instructs us to knock, and keep on knocking. It is the Lord that opens doors for His children. Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; Could it be that one reason we fail to see the doors opened is because we fail to knock? Especially in the spiritual realm, it is vital to understand the importance of knocking, that we might see the doors opened that our Heavenly Father desires that we walk through. 1 Corinthians 16:9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. The greatest door the child of God will ever walk through is the door that only the Lord can open.
Knock, and keep on knocking. The Lord Jesus knows your heart. He will open the door of blessing, the door of opportunity, and He will give grace to those who desire His way, His will, and His blessings! God gives open doors that we help someone, honor someone, and encourage someone along the way! Amen. Pastor
