Mark 13:7-8a… And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
A couple days ago the United States and Israel began a military campaign to destroy the nuclear and ballistic missile ambitions of Iran.  No doubt, many are troubled and perhaps confused concerning this war. As God’s people,  Jesus tells us to be not troubled!  There are announcements being made in the news every day.  If you will listen closely the news is projecting in many ways the same message as the Bible…
THE KING IS COMING!  Instead of being all upset about a broken world, we should be settled in our hearts because in the midst of a broken world, we know the blessed Lord!  The disciples had a desire to know when the events in Mark 13 would take place.  Hear this… Matthew 25:13  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.  Our Lord gives us a glimpse into the things that will be distinct indicators of His coming.  Foolish are those who claim to know the exact date!  Everything the Lord Jesus has ever foretold either has already come to pass or it will!  Mark it down in your heart for the Lord already marked it down in Mark!
Jesus was fixing to die on the cross and be buried, then rise again, and ascend back to Heaven.  He tells the disciples…
LET NOT YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED, I’m going.  Today, as we hear of wars and rumours of wars He’s saying… LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED…
