2 Thessalonians 1:3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.
Notice the word ALWAYS in our text.  That is a 100% word!  Jesus said “I do always those things which please the Father.”
It is very difficult for humans to use 100% words like ALWAYS or NEVER.  Yet Paul said his heart was thankful for the church at Thessolonica always.  The scripture tells us that men ought ALWAYS to pray, and not to faint.  Another text… Ephesians 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
I don’t know about you, but I fall short in the ALWAYS category.
Another 100% word is NEVER.
Think about these verses, then rejoice! John 10:28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  I rest in the fact that Jesus said those who put their trust in Him shall NEVER perish.
Another passage… Hebrews 13:5  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  Never perish in eternity, never alone in time!  100% words may be hard for us, but NEVER for the one who loved us, and gave himself for us!
