2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. For many in this great country, Thanksgiving day is about everything EXCEPT Thanksgiving. Theres more to scriptural Thanksgiving than food, football, and the family gathering. Thanksgiving should be a time to reflect, and a time to rejoice. Our Lord has provided another year. Our Lord has protected another year. We’ve have the privilege to enjoy our Lord’s presence another year. The songwriter said… ” I’ve got so much to thank Him for, so much to praise Him for, you see, He’s been so good to me. When I think, of all He’s done and where, He’s brought me from, I’ve got so much to thank Him for!” Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday. It’s not about commercialism, it’s about a heart that is grateful to Christ. Can you say God’s been good? Why not take time this season to thank Him for His goodness. He alone is worthy of all Glory and praise! Amen. Pastor
