Colossians 1:16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  According to this verse  we learn the majesty as well as the motive of God’s creation.  By Him!  For Him!  When we view the flowers this spring, listen closely… you might hear them saying, by Him, for Him.  When the trees begin to bud, and later begin to bloom, by Him, for Him.  I was on our back porch the other morning.   There were little birds flying around in and out of the covered area.  I happen to know what they’re doing.  They are looking for my wife’s ferns.  They love to nest in them.  The ferns are not yet present.  Those little fellas are proclaiming… by Him, for Him!
The turkeys will soon be gobbling… by Him, for Him.  When we look up at the moon and the stars, we should listen carefully… we might hear, by Him, for Him.  Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.  By Him, for Him.
Now for the final thought today… what if every parent looked into the eyes of their child, even before they could speak, and heard these words… By Him, for Him!  What if every pastor looked at each member of his congregation, and heard … By Him, for Him.  What if ever Sunday school teacher looked at their class, and imagined a little badge on each heart and life that said, by Him, for Him!  Even those who have not yet discovered their true purpose in life, need someone to come alongside and realize, they were created by Him, for Him. Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.   I want to make a difference this day, don’t you?   I desire to be used by Him, because I was created for Him!  It’s almost springtime!  Let’s be looking and listening… after all, it was all created by Him, for Him!  Amen.  Pastor
