Matthew 2:13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.  In life, there are times you think finally, things are settling down, only to discover the enemy never gives up!  Jesus has been born in a lowly manger.  It had to be a happy time for Mary and Joseph.  Now, the angel of God appears to warn them concerning Herod’s
desire to kill Jesus.   This Christmas season we need to realize that God has sent us a similar warning.   Consider
1 Peter 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Just because it’s Christmas don’t be fooled into thinking the enemy of God’s people is lying down on the job!  God wants us to have life abundantly.   Satan came to steal, to kill, and to destroy.   Stay close to Jesus and have a wonderful Christmas!  After all, greater is He that is in us, than our enemy ever has been, or
