Making good use of your time…

Ephesianns 5:15-16 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Time is something that is precious!  The older one gets, the easier that is to understand!
Our text today exhorts the believer to spend their time wisely.  Here are some things we might consider as we look at a day in the life of our Savior.
He spent time with the Father.
Time in prayer, the scripture tells us over and over a great while before day Jesus would meet with His Father.  This time was a priority in the life of our Lord.  Then Jesus spent time with others. He went about doing good!  He said I do always those things that please the Father.  I believe time spent with the Father, in prayer and the Word, produces a desire to help others.  We are in bibleschool this week.   I am watching our people pour their lives into our children.  It takes time! Precious time!  I believe our Lord looks down from Heaven and is pleased!  There are 10,000 other things we could be doing,  but nothing more important than pointing others to Jesus!
What are the priorities in your life?  Will you spend time this day with your Heavenly Father?
Time in His Word? Time helping another?  Someday, time will be no more.  Eternity will be rewarded based on the choices we make now. Yes, the days are evil, so lets take time to be Holy!  Lord, please help us this day to choose  how we spend our time wisely. Amen.  Pastor
