Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
In the Bible, hope is not wishful thinking but a confident, assured expectation of future good based on God’s unchanging character and promises. It is anchored in Jesus Christ and God’s past faithfulness, acting as a stable “anchor of the soul” that provides strength during present suffering. Consider please… Hebrews 6:19  Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast… There are many in this world who have NO HOPE.
The source of hope is none other than the Lord Jesus.  We should remember the time in our own life when we had no hope that we might be merciful to others.  Ephesians 2:12  That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:  While some have no hope, others have a FALSE HOPE.  Truly this is one of the saddest conditions of the soul.
Consider… Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Real hope is not based in our performance but rather in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Lastly, there is REAL HOPE!  Real hope is a living hope!  Real hope is found in a relationship not a religion.   Being born again produces a hope that fadeth not away!  1 Peter 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,  Real hope is looking for Jesus to return.  1 Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.  Real hope is a blessed hope… Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  Glory to God, Jesus is coming,  this could be the day!
