Genesis 39:3  And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.  His master SAW!  We are told to let our light shine, that men may SEE our good works.  Then in Hebrews 11… Now faith is the substance of things hoped for… and the EVIDENCE of things not seen.  Years ago, I heard someone say… If you were dragged into a court of law and accused of being a Christian,  would there be enough EVIDENCE in your life to convict you?  Joseph lived his life in such a way that while down at Potiphar’s house, his master SAW that God was with him!  While in prison, the prisoners SAW the Lord was with Joseph.  Eventually, as he was called up to interpret Pharoah’s dream, even in the palace, it was evident the Lord was with Joseph.   Now consider this evidence…
Joseph’s daddy died, his brethren just knew Joseph would get even with them for their jealousy and selling him into slavery.  This may be the most important part of the evidence… instead of getting even, Joseph loved and provided for his brethren… Why?  Because he genuinely forgave them!  Love coupled with mercy and grace is strong evidence to those around us that we are God’s children.   God sees the heart… this is true.  Mankind sees the EVIDENCE. This is also true!  So, what do others see in your life? Is your light shining brightly?  Are you hiding under a bushel?
