John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  One of the first pieces of evidence of truth in a person’s life is FREEDOM!  John the Baptist spoke of the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world!  Free from that awful bondage of sin, that we might serve Him that made us free!  Now consider… 1 John 2:4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  Another evidence of Truth that is present in a person’s life is OBEDIENCE!  We’re made new creatures in Christ Jesus that we might yield to His Lordship in our lives.  Next… 1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
When we walk in truth, the Lord gives us DISCERNMENT!  The ability to differentiate the truth from a lie. God cannot lie!  The devil is a liar and the father of a lie.  Lastly, let’s examine one more verse. After all, the evidences of truth are found in the Bible, thy Word is truth… 1 John 3:19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.  We find here that truth in the life of the child of God produces ASSURANCE!
