2 Chronicles 32:8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.   Hezekiah had learned a very important lesson.  You can trust the Lord even in extenuating circumstances!  Many times, the pilot of an airplane can not see what’s ahead due to fog, cloud cover, etc.  He has to land the plane even though he can not see the lights on the runway.
This is a time he must rely on air traffic control, as well as the instrument panel on the airplane.   His plane is on the radar in the tower.  If a plane disappears from radar, it generally means something catastrophic has happened.  May I report to you that there is never a time when we disappear from sight on God’s radar! Glory!  He knows about every turbulence we face.  Our instrument panel is God’s precious word and will keep us flying with a good Christian altitude.  I mean attitude!  Hezekiah had learned the arm of flesh will fail you, but that’s not the arm we are to lean on.  The songwriter records… learning to lean, learning to lean, I’m learning to lean on Jesus.  Finding more power than I’ve ever seen, I’m learning to lean on Jesus!  I’m 65 years old, and still learning.  Oh what a Savior!
