2 Kings 19:14-15 And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.  And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD…  the wicked king of the Assyrians threatens Hezakiah and God’s people once again.  This time Hezakiah does the right thing… He took the threatening letter and SPREAD IT BEFORE THE LORD!  What a great lesson we could glean here!  Truthfully,  Hezakiah and his people were no match for the Assyrians… but… their God would give the Victory!  David said as he entered into the valley with Goliath… THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S!  Even Jesus when dealing with the enemy in the wilderness of temptation said over and over…IT IS WRITTEN!  It is God’s word through the power of the Holy Spirit that gives us the Victory.   What happened when Hezakiah spread it before the Lord and prayed… Notice… 2 Kings 19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.  185,000 reasons to trust the Lord!  He has the enemies number!
