1 Peter 3:10-12 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Are you walking in the fear of God? Are you looking for His return? Is there something in your life that needs to be confessed and forsaken? The honest answer to these questions will help you determine whether or not you are positioned to receive the blessings that God wants to pour out on you. 1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. God does not expect us to be sinless. He does expect us to sin less! Through the power of the precious Holy Spirit, we can live for Him who died for us. May God help us to hunger and thirst after righteousness, that we might be filled. The songwriter said… Fill my cup Lord, I lift it up Lord, come and quench this thirsting in my soul.
