Psalm 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
We all know the importance of physical hygiene.   What is often overlooked among so many is the importance of spiritual hygiene.   How can we heed God’s word if we do not read God’s word?  Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.  These pure words are absolutely essential if we are to live a clean spiritual life.  Please take a few minutes and read 1 John 1:1-10. In verse 1 we find the WORD! In verse 3 we find FELLOWSHIP.  In verse 4 we find JOY.  In verse 5 we see the MESSAGE.  In verse 6-10 notice the IF’S… If we say we have fellowship and walk in darkness, we are lying to ourself.  If we walk in the light we have sweet fellowship.   If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.  If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves.  To wrap up… the WORD produces faith,  faith produces fellowship,  and fellowship produces clean living.  Are you in fellowship with God?  To walk with Him today is joy unspeakable and full of glory!  Amen.  Pastor
