1 Peter 3:3-4 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.  According to God’s word, a woman is beautiful not in respect to her outward appearance,  but rather in respect to her heart.  It’s not the hairstyle,  the jewelry, or the clothing that makes a lady beautiful,  it is an attitude of meekness,  and it’s a quiet spirit which God deems invaluable.  Marriages would be much better off with this kind of meekness.   Churches would as well.  Many mistake meekness for weakness.  Meekness is actually an inner strength in that it seeks to please the Lord   without being recognized.   The old saying is beauty is skin deep, actually real beauty is much deeper than that!  This kind of beauty radiates from the heart, but becomes obvious to all who have the blessed privilege to behold. Ladies, ask God today to help you.  He will!For those of us who have wives and mothers who reflect this inner beauty, we ought to praise the Lord!  The kind of woman Peter is descrbing is becoming more and more uncommon in todays society.
