Deuteronomy 30:19  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:   Decisions, decisions,  we make them every day!  There is a decision that is made once for eternity.  The Holy Spirit deals with our hearts, letting us know we have a sin problem.  He not only convicts us of the problem but also convinces us of the solution!
He points us to Jesus, the one who suffered and died on a cruel cross.  He also comforts us in knowing the Lord rose again the third day.  Now, we must choose!  Do I RECEIVE or REJECT?  Life or death, blessing or cursing, the choice will be made by every human being.  John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
You can turn away from the light and walk in darkness, but the light mentioned in the verse above will NEVER be extinguished!  A gunman took the life of Charlie Kirk two days ago.  He probably thought that would be the end of Charlie.  What the gunman did not know was that Charlie chose Jesus. Therefore, there is a light in his life that can never be put out.
Jesus said … He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,  but have the light of life.  Choices have real consequences.   You may be thinking, Charlie’s choice got him killed.  In the end, we shall see, like Stephen in the book of Acts, his choice got him to Heaven and helped others see the way!  Are you making good choices.  Life or death, blessing or cursing,  the choice is ours.
