1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Deep in the heart of every born again believer there is a living hope. We are living in a world where multitudes are without God and without hope. We are never told not to sorrow when we lose a friend or a loved one to death. We are told not to sorrow as others who have no hope. The hope we have is an anchor of the soul. In these last of the last days, so many are drifting aimlessly in life, many in a very real storm in their life, with no anchor, and no hope. May the Lord Jesus challenge you and I to share with others WHERE we found hope, as well as WHO gave us our hope. Psalm 43:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness, I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus name. On Christ, the solid rock I stand… what about you? If we know where we stand, on the rock, why not reach out to someone who is building on sinking sand. Amen. Pastor
