Matthew 6:11  Give us this day our daily bread.  Then… Acts 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,  I don’t know about you, but I love bread with a meal.  We did Italian for Christmas dinner with our family, the bread sticks were delicious!  What about spiritual bread?  Are we not in need of spiritual food each and every day.  Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  We would not neglect to eat physically for long periods of time.   Yet, if we’re not careful,  we will neglect to feed the new man, the spiritual man.  Let’s determine in this new year to spend more time with Jesus.  After all, He is the bread of life.  We should read God’s word.  We should meditate on God’s word.   We should memorize God’s word.   Most importantly,  we should obey God’s word. Lord, help us to realize you’ve invited us to your table each and every day.  Thank you Lord. Amen.  Pastor
