Faithfulness in the Little things…

Luke 16:10  He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.   David was faithful with the sheep he had the responsibility to care for.  Daniel was faithful to pray.    A decree  was passed that a petition should no longer be made to any god or man except
Darius the king.   The decree did not deter Daniel.   He prayed… as he did aforetiime!  This Daniel, a man that was faithful to pray,  not just when extenuating circumstances arose, was now facing a den of lions.  Because he was faithful in the little things, he had the attention of King Darius, as well as the King of Kings!   King Darius had confidence that Daniel’s God would deliver him.  That confidence was not birthed overnight,  but as a result of a man that was faithful. It would behove you and I to be found faithful in the little things.  After all, there’s a lion looking for his next victim. 1 Peter 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  It is faithfulness in the little things that prepares us for the big things, and gives the lions lock jaw!  Amen.  Pastor
