Matthew 9:37-38 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.  I remember the poster with a picture of Uncle Sam with the words at the bottom saying “I WANT YOU!”  His finger is pointed right at you in the picture.  In our text today Jesus is stating the need for labourers in His harvest.  Our Lord wants His children to be involved in reaching others with the Gospel of Christ.   When Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up there were a couple things that took place immediately.  First, Isaiah recognized his need for cleansing.  Then, after his cleansing, the Lord asked this question.
“Whom shall I send and who shall go for us?”  Isaiah responded, “Here am I Lord, send me.”  We could see a real move of God in America if every born again child of God had the same cleansing and the same willingness to go.  Many will not heed the Gospel message, but some will.  If we had to labor for 100 years in the harvest to see one soul snatched from Hell it would be worth it all!  God says “I want you!”  Will you go?  There’s coming a day when you as well as others will be thoroughly glad you did!  Amen.
