Psalm 16:11  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
As born again believers we know that the Lord Jesus will never leave nor forsake us!  That, He has promised!  It is one thing to know this truth, quite another to walk in this truth.  It would seem to me that to walk in this truth will result in fulness of Joy!  Peter tells us that we will experience trials in our faith.  But he goes on to say something that is missing in so many of God’s people’s lives.  1 Peter 1:8  Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.  The rejoicing and joy Peter is speaking of is in the midst of suffering,  not the absence of it.  The songwriter said “Even in the valley God is good.”  Those who walk with the Lord, in the light of His word, know the remarkable difference that comes from not only knowing Jesus is with you, but also experiencing His presence as well.  Do you have the fulness of joy that comes from our Lord? If not, why not?  He’s waiting for you to come into His presence now.  At His right hand you will find the true pleasures of the Christian life.  Amen.  Pastor
