Genesis 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.  I wonder how many times along the journey Joseph was thinking… this is not a dream, it’s a nightmare!
In the pit where his brothers put him.  In the prison after he was falsely accused by Potiphars wife.  It must have seemed like more of a nightmare than a dream!  Do you dream of accomplishing something great for God?  I remember well when I would lie in bed picturing in my mind getting to preach to 100 people.  I never felt worthy but I had a desire to serve the Lord.
Sometimes on life’s journey there are trials we must face in order to get to the destination our Lord has in mind for our life.
Joseph was on his way to the PALACE.  Perhaps it didn’t seem like it at times, but God was fulfilling His PURPOSE in Joseph’s life all along!  God’s purpose was to save much PEOPLE alive.   Had it not been for the dream coming to fruition, many would have PERISHED with hunger!  It seems to me there are many young people in America willing to STAND UP and SPEAK UP in these last days.  Dream big!  There’s a God in heaven that is able to do MORE than we can ask or even think!  Lord, give us some Josephs!  People who will resist the temptation,  who will go on inspite of trials, and who will ultimately triumph for God’s glory!  Amen.
