Revelation 21:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  Can you imagine a time and a place where there is NO MORE SORROW?  That is exactly what God has promised to His children in Heaven!   Sorrow is caused by the effects of sin.  We forget at times that death, pain, tears, and sorrow are not God’s fault, these are consequences of our own disobedience to God.  God made us a way at Calvary to be forgiven.   He also made us a way to escape the very presence of sin.  When we leave this world of sorrow, we’ll look back and say it was worth it all!
Home! A glorified body!   No sin here!  No devil here!  All is peace forever more on that happy golden shore, what a day, glorious day that will be!  Jesus is there!  The saints of old are there!  Our loved ones who have put their faith in the Lord Jesus are there!  Some call it Heaven, God’s people call it HOME!   How much better life would be if every born again believer set their affection on things above, not on things of the earth.  We’re nearing the shore.  No more death, no more pain, no more sorrow.
