Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
This one thing we can be sure of, problems will come in our lives.  Where should we turn when problems arise.  Should we turn to the world’s counsel.   They are the ones telling us it’s perfectly fine to kill the unborn if the child presents an inconvenience.   The world tells us that homosexuality is an alternate lifestyle.  We live in a society where drugs and alcohol,  illicit sex, and all kinds of other sins are acceptable. 
May God help us to realize when problems arise it’s not time to turn to the WORLD for counsel,  but rather to the WORD!  The next verse in Psalm 1 says… But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  America needs to return to the counsel that is preserved in the word of the living God!
It starts with every child of God seeking His face.  We must seek first the kingdom of our God.   When we do our Shepherd will lead us, and direct us in paths of righteousness for His names sake.  When the storms of life are raging realize there is one who is right there by our side.
Troubles are like the waves of the sea.  Many times they are well over our head.  Just remember this, they are still under His feet.  I’ve experienced the waves in the ocean knocking me down.  They are powerful for sure.
I’ve also been knocked down by the waves of trouble that life throws at me.  Here’s the truth, I’ve been knocked down, but never knocked out!  There was always a Savior right there with me to help me up!  He’ll help you up too!  Learn of Him.  Look to Him.  Live for Him.  Listen to Him.  He’s the greatest problem solver that ever walked the face of this earth!
If you were to ask Noah, Joseph,  Moses, David, Esther, John the Baptist,  Peter, Thomas, and a multitude of others, they would say… AMEN!  Amen. Pastor
