Psalm 34:11  Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.  Yet another evidence that we fear God is that we trust Him.  According to Hebrews 11, faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.  In vs 6 This poor man cried!  Remember when you realized you were spiritually bankrupt, dead in trespasses and sin?  Oh to cry out to Jesus for mercy, and to KNOW that he heard your cry!  That’s what it means to trust Him and to fear Him.
Vs 8 says O taste and see that the Lord is good,  blessed is the man that trusteth in Him!  Are you blessed?  We not only trust Him to save us, but we also trust Him to sustain us.  We are saved by faith, we walk by faith, and someday we shall reach heavens bright shore, BY FAITH!  To fear God is to practice a reverentual respect for Him.  Have you tasted?  One thing I know, when I taste something that’s real good… I keep coming back for more!  Ask Ms Eve!
